License Your Pet

Your pets must be licensed in Manatee County. Your pet (dog, cat or ferret) requires a yearly rabies vaccination and County license and failure to obtain this registration could result in fines as high as $1,000.

Receive Children's Whole-Health Services

Program is a behavioral health program for children and their families that serve them in the following areas: suicide prevention/awareness, anxiety/stress, violence/trauma, anger management/emotional regulation, crime prevention, grief/loss, and drug/alcohol awareness.

Receive Counseling for Housing and Financial Literacy

HUD-Certified Counseling for At-Risk Families-The Housing Counseling program provides one-on-one counseling for families in a variety of areas related to housing needs. The HUD-Certified Housing Counselor offers guidance, referrals, information, and support to families at risk of becoming homeless.

Receive Early Childhood Court (Foster Children) Services

For more than 40 years, The Florida Center for Early Childhood has been a leading provider of therapeutic services, early education, and healthy development for children in southwest Florida.

Receive Family Assistance: Whole Child Manatee

Whole Child Manatee works with families to provide assessment, connection, education, and support through shared community partnerships.

Receive Grief Support: The Blue Butterfly Family Grief Center

The Blue Butterfly Family Grief Center is a program of Tidewell Grief Care. Our mission is to serve children ages 5-18 and their caregivers by providing a safe space to grieve and process after a significant death in their lives.

Register for Daycare: Head Start and Early Head Start

Program provides center based early childhood development services at five sites throughout Manatee County for children from six weeks to five years old.

Register for Youth Basketball League

Join Manatee County’s youth basketball program for ages 3-17, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun, supportive environment.

Rent a Room at G.T. Bray or John Marble Recreation Centers

The G.T. Bray Recreation Center provides the perfect atmosphere for birthday parties, reunions, corporate gatherings or special family events. 

Report a Nuisance Alligator

Request Electric Bill Payment Assistance for the Elderly (EHEAP)

EHEAP (Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program) assists households with at least one person aged 60 and over with payment of electric bill final notices, deposits, and past due notices.

Qualified Manatee County residents may be eligible to receive payment assistance for ambulance fees from Manatee County Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

Qualified Manatee County residents may be eligible to receive assistance to cover prescription costs.

Requirements for Backflow Testing

Every customer who owns a backflow prevention assembly is required to have the assembly tested annually. Log into your Manatee County Utilities online account to find out when your backflow preventer was last tested and the result of your test.

Reserve a One-to-One Tech Help Appointment

Most Manatee Library locations offer basic one-on-one technology help with a library staff member. These 30-minute sessions assist patrons with Androids, iPhones, tablets, laptops, and library eBook and eAudiobook resources.

Reserve an Athletic Field

To reserve an athletic field for a birthday party, group event, or travel ball team, email alexis.barr@mymanatee.org with your requested dates, times, and preferred location. Be sure to review all fees and provide detailed information. Note that staffing, building access, parking, and field markings are not included in the rental.

Manatee county owns two public 18 hole Golf Courses, located in Bradenton and Palmetto, Florida. Each course offers a challenging layout and nice greens. Public Tee Times and Season Passes available.
