Manatee County Veterans Services can assist eligible veterans with disability/compensation benefits with:

• Initial claim for service-related Injuries or presumptive illnesses
• Reconsiderations of previous denials
• Claims to increase current disability rating
• Claims for secondary or residual disabilities
• Submitting an appeal of a previously denied claim

CVS can assist Veterans or their family members with ordering any needed documentation from either the National Archives, the branch of service or the VA. The office helps in determining what the Veteran needs to support their application or situation, assist with the application and submitting it. Please call and make an appointment to see a Manatee County Veterans Services Counselor if you need assistance with these services.

Veterans are also encouraged to make an appointment with MCVS to see if there are any other benefits from the VA for which they qualify.
