    The Financial Management department consists of the budget, fiscal and procurement divisions for Manatee County. The Budget Division manages the operating and capital improvement budgets, infrastructure sales tax revenues and conducts financial analysis for all county departments. The Fiscal Services Division provides fiscal support for the Department Directors and managers for daily operations of county initiatives. The Procurement Division oversees the purchasing for all county departments and divisions.

    The Capital Improvement Plan Budget Division prepares and outlines an annual budget for the County’s capital projects and a plan for the County’s capital investments over the next five years that is consistent with the goals, objectives and policies of the Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map.
