Apply for a Toilet Rebate
Manatee County offers rebates of up to $100 per toilet (max 2) for replacing older, high-flow toilets (3.5 gpf or higher) with high-efficiency models (1.28 gpf or less) to conserve water. Eligibility requires verification, and the old toilet must be retained until approval.

Manatee County's Water Conservation Program offers expert speakers for schools and community groups, free irrigation and landscape evaluations, and educational workshops through UF/IFAS Extension. Resources include Florida-Friendly Landscaping guides, Water-Wise Awards for conserving landscapes, and conservation tips from the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
Requirements for Backflow Testing
Every customer who owns a backflow prevention assembly is required to have the assembly tested annually. Log into your Manatee County Utilities online account to find out when your backflow preventer was last tested and the result of your test.

Information and FAQ's
Our purpose is to provide University-based information to residents so they may learn to reduce their usage of drinking-quality water for irrigation while maintaining attractive, healthy landscapes.
The Mobile Irrigation Lab performs FREE landscape irrigation evaluations that can help residents save water and money. Learn how to have your landscape irrigation system evaluated.

Water Division
The Potable Water Program includes the protection, quality control, operation, and maintenance of the entire system, from the water source to a customer’s tap. The drinking water program operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their goal is to be “always on, always safe, always affordable.”
