Reserve a One-to-One Tech Help Appointment
Most Manatee Library locations offer basic one-on-one technology help
with a library staff
member. These 30-minute sessions assist patrons with Androids, iPhones,
tablets,
laptops, and library eBook and eAudiobook resources.
Reserve an Archive Lab Station
A digital DIY space located at Central Library, Archive Lab is comprised of 4 stations where you can scan and save your photos, home videos, scrapbooks, slides, and more. The Archive Lab is also open to local organizations, small businesses, and churches.
Yes, Manatee Library can provide copies of local obituaries if available in our archive. We will respond in most cases within two (2) business days but please allow more time for multiple obituaries. Please see Request an Obituary for more information.
A Manatee Library card is encouraged, but is not required, to use the Archive Lab. Register for a library card in order to enjoy all the benefits of Manatee Library!
Yes, Manatee Library offers computer classes (basic to intermediate) and one-to-one tech help appointments for adults.
To find classes and tech help, visit the Library's Event Calendar. Browse the calendar by scrolling down or use the filters and search box on the left of the page (search for computer or tech).
If there is availability, you can register by:
selecting an event and clicking on Begin Registration button.
You will be sent a confirmation email after registration and a reminder email the day before the program begins.
