Lobby Stop Request Form

Schedule a Pop-Up Library to visit your care facility or retirement community! Manatee Library's monthly Lobby Stops provide residents with assistance in registering for a Library card, accessing e-resources and e-reading materials, and selecting physical materials to check out from the traveling library collection.

Highlights of a Lobby Stop:

  • A monthly visit from our Pop-Up Library with a rotating selection of print, large print, and audio materials for residents to borrow.
  • Materials are loaned for a period of 30 days and may be renewed by contacting Library staff.
  • Library staff are on site at Lobby Stops for the duration of the visit to assist residents in selecting materials to check out from the traveling library collection, registering for library cards, and accessing e-materials.
  • For residents who prefer to have Library staff select items for them ahead of time, they must participate in our Homebound Delivery program to have their materials delivered at Lobby Stops.
