Manatee Library provides public access to library computers equipped with Microsoft Office and the Internet at all locations as well as WiFi access for personal devices, as part of its mission to deliver services that meet the information needs of the community and reduce barriers to access.
The Library also affirms the right and responsibility of parents and legal guardians to determine and monitor their children’s use of the Internet as well as library resources and materials.
Library Public Computers:
- Library computers are equipped with Internet and Microsoft Office software.
- Black & white and color printing is available from all library computers and remotely.
- Due to limited number of computers, the daily limit of computer use is 4 hours per patron.
- Users requiring ADA accommodations should request assistance at any staff desk.
- Users must comply with the Library Use Policy.
- Use of public computer hardware and the Internet is at your own risk.
Library WiFi:
- Every library location provides limited wireless access.
- There is no password and the network is called "Manatee County Public".
- Black & white and color printing is available remotely.
- Users requiring ADA accommodations should request assistance at any staff desk.
- Users must comply with the Library Use Policy.
- Use of unsecured wireless Internet is at your own risk.

Hours Available: Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:50 p.m.
Friday - Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:50 p.m.
Sunday: Lakewood Ranch 1:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.; All other locations CLOSED
Eligibility: WiFi open to all. Library computer use requires a Manatee Library card. Children 11 and under using a library computer must be accompanied by caregiver 16 and older. Computer users are expected to have a basic understanding of computer use and Internet searching. Staff are available for limited assistance only as time allows.

Yes, all Manatee Library locations offer free public computer use, free Wifi, self-service copying for a fee, and self-service printing for a fee. Wireless printing is also available for a fee.

Yes, Xerox copy/scan machines are available at all Manatee Library locations. The fees are:
- B&W copying: 10¢ per page (x2 for double-sided)
- Color copying: 50¢ per page (x2 for double-sided)
