If conditions requiring a backflow preventer no longer exist on your property (e.g., removal of an in-ground irrigation system with no other conditions requiring a backflow preventer), you may submit a Petition to Remove a Backflow Prevention Assembly to the Cross Connection Control Office.

  • Backflow prevention assemblies must not be removed without written approval from the Cross Connection Control Office.
