RUN MANATEE - RYE PRESERVE 5K

The RUN Manatee 5K series offers three events to explore Manatee County’s parks and preserves. The final 5K on November 22 features a run/walk through diverse ecosystems, with chances to spot wildlife. Activities include a warm-up, yoga cooldown, food, local vendors, and fun for all ages. Whether you're running or not!

The RUN Manatee 5k series offers THREE adventures to celebrate ONE community. Participants will discover Manatee County's parks, beaches and preserves on the run! The second event of the series will be held on Saturday, July 12th at Coquina Beach in Bradenton Beach, FL.

Goblin Gathering

This spooktacular outdoor event is family friendly and fun for all ages! Local businesses will be passing out “treats & sweets” to participants, providing a safe alternative for families to trick-or-treat. This year will also feature bounce houses, face painting, costume contests, petting zoo and magic! Costume contest sign up begins after 5 PM (judging begins at 7 PM).

A Night Before Christmas

Get ready for family fun at the annual Night Before Christmas event at GT Bray Park! Santa and Mrs. Clause will be visiting the park to meet with all the children. The event will include a real snow, face painting, bounce house, petting zoo, and much more. Local vendors will be showing their holiday spirit, and the food truck lineup has your dinner covered! This awesome event is great for kids of all ages. Event entry is FREE, however, a suggested donation per family of a new, unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots is kindly requested. Event parking is located near the Recreation Center, accessible from 33rd Ave Dr W.

The Community Engagement Division creates and implements events aligned with Manatee County's growth, supporting its mission, boosting public awareness, and showcasing new facilities. It partners with organizations and businesses to develop signature events while ensuring proper permits and protocols. This division also negotiates partnerships for additional events like tournaments, 5Ks, and community activities across county parks, facilities, and beaches.
