The toolkit outlines the causes and effects of red tide, which affects marine life, human health, and the local economy in Florida.

The Reasoner Tract, part of Robinson Preserve in Manatee County, features some of the historic plants introduced to the region by the Reasoner family.

The blueways of Manatee County comprise 75 miles of paddling trails in marine and fresh waters. 

Manatee County has been involved in reef construction since the late 1960’s and currently has 13 artificial reefs to balance public uses such as fishing and diving with resource conservation.
