Sports enthusiasts can hit up the athletic fields, while your furry friends will love the separate parks for both small and large dogs. Have a daring streak? The skate park has you covered. Bring the family for a picnic under the pavilion or let the kids run wild on the playground, there’s something here for everyone!

Blackstone North

Location: The pavilion is located North of the soccer fields and near the softball outfield.

Amenities: Pavilion includes 7 tables which seat 56 and 2 small grills. Restroom facilities, playground, and two racquetball courts are within walking distance and open to the public. ADA accessible.

You may drive up to the pavilion if you have reserved it. Water spigots are not for public use. Any additional set up of tables, tents, etc. is prohibited without a special event permit.

Blackstone North Pavillion

Fee: $60.00 + tax….electricity included

Reserve Blackstone North Pavilion

Blackstone Playground Pavilion

Location: The pavilion is located near the softball fields and close to the amenities.

Amenities: Pavilion includes 4 tables which seat 32 and 1 small grill. Restroom facilities, playground, and two racquetball courts are within walking distance and open to the public. ADA accessible.

Park gates will not be unlocked for closer access to the pavilion. Water spigots are not for public use. Any additional set up of tables, tents, etc. is prohibited without a special event permit.

Blackstone Pavillion

Fee: $50.00 + tax….electricity included

Reserve Blackstone Playground Pavilion

Blackstone South Pavilion

Location: The pavilion is located near the softball fields, next to baseball pitching mound and close to the amenities.

Amenities: Pavilion includes 5 tables which seat 40, one small 20” grill and one double grill. Restroom facilities, playground, and two racquetball courts are within walking distance and open to the public. ADA accessible.

You can drive up to the pavilion if you have reserved it. Water spigots are not for public use. Any additional set up of tables, tents, etc. is prohibited without a special event permit.

Blackstone Pavillion

Fee: $50.00 + tax….electricity included

Blackstone Dog Park

Location Details

The dog park is located on the corner of 14th Avenue West and 23rd Street West, with the entrance to parking of 14th Avenue West.

DOG PARK RULES

This park is for the enjoyment of our canine visitor.
Aggressive dogs will not be allowed to remain in the park.
Dogs must wear a current license tag and have a current rabies vaccination.
Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the park.
All dogs within the fence must be off leash.
Choke collars are prohibited.
Dog owners must be present, with leash, and in view of their dog at all times.
Dogs must be under voice control at all times.
Dog feces must be picked up and disposed of by the owner.
Owners must immediately fill in any holes dug by their dogs.
Feeding the squirrels is prohibited inside the dog park.
People food is prohibited inside the dog park.
Alcoholic consumption is prohibited in County parks.
The small dog area is recommended for small, fragile, or elderly canine visitors.
Children may accompany the family pet if they are under the direct supervision of an adult.
In all cases, owners are responsible for the actions of their dogs.
Canine and human visitors enter at their own risk. Manatee County cannot be responsible for injuries to visiting dogs, their owners, or others using the park.
All special events should be requested through the Parks and Natural Resources Department.
NO park personnel on duty in the dog park.
