Tom Bennett Park, conveniently situated near I-75, offers a versatile mix of activities catering to a variety of interests from active recreation to tranquil nature experiences. The park features a well-equipped playground suitable for all abilities, two sand volleyball courts, a fitness structure, and a multi-purpose athletic field for sports enthusiasts. For those seeking a more serene experience, the park also boasts a beautifully maintained nature trail, inviting visitors to explore at their leisure. Additionally, the park includes kayaking opportunities and an 18-hold disc golf course making it a fitting destination for all.
Manatee County purchased the majority of the 200-acre park in April 2003, with assistance from the Florida Communities Trust under the Florida Forever Program.

A drinking fountain, restroom facility, open play field, playground, sand volleyball courts, disc golf, nature trail and outdoor fitness equipment are open to the public. ADA accessible.
The park gates will remain locked, restricting closer access to the pavilion. Public use of water spigots is not allowed. Setting up additional tables, tents, or other equipment is prohibited without obtaining a special event permit.
