The Special Needs Registry, maintained by the Manatee County Public Safety Department is designed to assist residents of Manatee County who will require transportation or sheltering assistance when the citizen is notified to evacuate their residence because of a storm.  MCAT provides this emergency transportation to individuals and families on the special needs registry. 

MCAT also provides a bus to transport the unhoused in our community to safe shelter during any severe weather.  Transportation services offered during and after any severe weather event will vary according to the event and the needs of the community.
