Manatee County EMS provides Professional Medical Coverage for a wide range of special events within Manatee County, including festivals, parades, holiday celebrations, and more.

SERVICE PRICING

Rates are set by the Board of County Commissioners through Resolution R-13-196.

Stand-by time for ambulance and crew, $160/HR; Minimum charge will be for three hours and charges will be rounded up to the next hour. Stand-by time for staff without ambulance, per person $60/HR: Minimum charge will be for three hours and charges will be rounded up to the next hours.

SERVICE OPTIONS (SEE BELOW)

AMBULANCE CREW - $160/HR:   Able to treat and transport all medical and trauma related emergencies.

VEHICLE WITH EMT/PARAMEDIC - $60/ HR

HR BIKE TEAM - $120/HR PER TEAM OF TWO

SABER works well for densely populated outdoor festivals where traditional response vehicles would have difficulty gaining access to sick or injured revelers.

All MCEMS Bike Team members are: Certified by The International Police and Medic Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA). Equipped to handle any medical or traumatic emergency until an ambulance arrives.

MCEMS bike teams carry the same equipment found in an ambulance but in a condensed size and smaller quantity. Bike teams are useful in maneuvering through large crowds.
