Manatee County Veterans Services assists eligible veterans and dependents in getting the health services to which they are entitled. We can assist you in receiving health care from a local VA health care facility. Some of the services provided at the facility include:
- Hospital, outpatient, medical, dental, pharmacy and prosthetic services
- Domiciliary, nursing home and community-based residential care
- Sexual trauma counseling
- Special health care for female veterans
- Health and rehabilitation programs for homeless veterans
- Readjustment counseling
- Alcohol and drug dependency treatment
- Medical treatment for exposure to Agent Orange, radiation or environmental hazards
- Outreach programs for homebound veterans or veterans in nursing homes or hospitals

Call your Veterans Services Counselor to apply.
Information needed before applying includes:
- Veterans DD214
- Driver License or State ID
- Copies of current Insurance card
- Previous calendar year's income for the household
Note: Once approved, the Veteran applying must be present at the VA clinic so a picture for the VA healthcare ID can be obtained.

Hours Available: Our lobby hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. We are closed for lunch from noon-1 p.m.
