Program is designed to promote strength, safety and well-being for Manatee County children who have been affected by domestic violence, and to assist families with non-abusive methods of communication. Methods used include: individual and family counseling, parenting education, case management, advocacy, referrals, and staffing with a licensed clinical supervisor.

Hours Available: Tues-Thurs, 8:30am-7:30pm; Friday, 8:30am-2pm

Eligibility:

Manatee County resident

Ages birth-17 years

Victims of domestic violence, and their non-offending parents

HOPE Family Services (HOPE) is a private not-for-profit corporation founded in 1979 and received tax-exempt status under section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in 1980. HOPE’s primary purpose is to provide services to survivors of domestic violence and help them stay safe, gain strength, and evaluate their options. From the first program until today, HOPE has had one goal; to offer high-quality, life-saving services, which are confidential and offered at no charge for victims and survivors of domestic violence.
