NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 125.66(2)(a), Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing on January 9, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Commission Chambers, located on the first floor of the Manatee County Administrative Center, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida, to consider the following ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 23-104

AN ORDINANCE OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION  2-22-8 OF THE MANATEE COUNTY CODE; AMENDING THE EXISTING SPEED LIMIT ZONES ON WHITE EAGLE BOULEVARD, AND 33RD STREET EAST FROM STATE ROAD 70 TO WHITFIELD AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies of the proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public during normal
business hours in the Public Works Department, 2101 47th Terrace East, Bradenton, Florida. A
reasonable charge may be made for the provision of copies. Interested parties may appear at

the meeting or public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.

record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Glass Chambers, located on the 1st Floor of the Manatee County Administrative Center Building at 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida, to consider the following:

ORDINANCE NO. 24-01

AN ORDINANCE OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING; AMENDING SECTION 2-22-24 OF THE MANATEE COUNTY CODE CONCERNING NO STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING DESIGNATIONS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies of Ordinance No. 24-01 may be inspected by the public during normal business hours in the
Office of the County Attorney, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Suite 969, Bradenton, Florida.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting or public hearing and be heard with respect to the

proposed ordinance.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 125.66 of Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing in the Manatee County Government Administration Building Honorable Patricia M. Glass Chambers, First Floor, on January 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., or soon thereafter, to consider, act upon, enact or reject the following Resolution:

RESOLUTION NO. R-24-015

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REGARDING PUBLIC FINANCE, TO CHANGE THE INFRASTRUCTURE SALES TAX PROJECT AND EQUIPMENT LIST TO AMEND A PROJECT SCOPE IN THE TRANSPORTATION CAPITAL PROJECTS CATEGORY AND ADD THREE PROJECTS TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PROJECTS CATEGORY PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Interested parties may appear and be heard at the meeting with respect to the proposed
Resolution and related Ordinance. Pursuant to Section 286.0105 of Florida Statutes, if
any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any
matter to be considered at the meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the
proceedings and for such purpose, she or he may need to ensure that a verbatim record
