Manatee County to host Supplier Outreach Symposium in September

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (July 22, 2019) – Manatee County’s Procurement Division will host a Supplier Outreach Symposium for registered suppliers to meet with County departments to ask questions and discuss the goods and services they provide.

The symposium will be Sept. 13 from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, One Haben Boulevard in Palmetto. Business representatives can come and go throughout the morning.

In addition to opportunities to network with procurement professionals and meet with multiple County representatives and other key staff, the event will include a “How to Do Business” workshop at 9 a.m. and again at 10:30 a.m. covering the basics of doing business with Manatee County Government.

“This is a great opportunity for suppliers to make valuable new business contacts with multiple Manatee County governmental agencies all in one day, all in one place,” said Manatee County Procurement Official Theresa Webb.
