MANATEE COUNTY, FL (June 21, 2018) – Filled with beautiful local photography, packed with updated information and optimized for mobile phones and tablets, Manatee County Government today released a new website that's more user-friendly than ever before.

The name of the website, www.mymanatee.org, has not changed but the experience is new and improved for the 100,000-plus visitors to the site each month.

The site's biggest improvements are highlighted in a brief video and include:

  • Orange quick links on the home page direct visitors to the County's most popular sites and services.
  • Dozens of the County's most frequented pages are alphabetized under new menu tabs for Residents, Business, Things To Do and more.
  • A powerful in-site search tool will give visitors a quick, easy way to find what they're looking for without having to know the inner workings of local government.

"People visit the County website to pay their water bill, access data or just to learn about services, so this project really improves the experience our residents have with their government," said Nick Azzara, Information Outreach Manager. "People have been asking for online improvements for a long time. I'm proud of the work we've done to offer a fresh new site that you can access anywhere from a mobile device."

The County's previous website was launched in 2010. The internet and smartphones have virtually transformed the world during that time, and now the County's website is able to keep pace.
