Trash Schedule
Normal schedule resumed Monday, October 3. As usual, Wednesday is debris pickup. Debris can be prepared as yard waste and placed outside for collection on Wednesdays. Unprepared debris is being collected by contracted haulers on passes through the county. Storm debris can be properly bundled as yard waste for collection on Wednesdays. No loose debris will be collected by the haulers on Wednesdays as yard waste. Loose debris that is placed at your curb will be collected by contractors (those pickups started Friday, October 7).
Recycling collections resumed the week of October 17. Please do not use the recycling cart for yard waste or garbage—it will not be collected.
Debris Contractors are not permitted to collect debris from commercial properties. Businesses or commercial property owners should work through their insurance company.
The collection process is long and tedious. Please be patient. Thank you for your understanding.

Landfill Hours
Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Landfill fees resumed on Tuesday, October 18. Contractors collecting debris and bringing it to the facility are responsible for commercial fees.
Please call (941) 792-8811 to arrange for disposal of refrigerators and freezers.

The above locations are for recycling materials only. No other materials will be accepted. All cardboard must be clean, broken down or flattened to be recycled. Manatee County provides a recycling drop-off center for ALL recyclable materials at the Manatee County Landfill, 3333 Lena Rd., Bradenton. All materials that are accepted in the curbside recycling program can be brought to Manatee County’s Landfill for recycling (landfill fees resume Tuesday, October 18).
