Criminal Nuisance Abatement Board

Purpose

Manatee County's Nuisance Abatement program aims to promote, protect and improve safety in Manatee County neighborhoods. The program works with the Nuisance Abatement Board, a citizen review board that can impose fines and other non-criminal penalties against someone who has pending or repeated violations of criminal nuisances.

Membership Requirements

  • The Manatee County Criminal Nuisance Abatement Board consists of five voting members.
  • Members must be residents of Manatee County.
  • Initial appointments will be two members for a one year term and three members for a two years terms.
  • Subsequent terms will be for two years.

Meetings

The Criminal Nuisance Abatement Board meets on an as-needed basis. Meetings are held in the Chambers located on the first floor at the Manatee County Administration Center, 1112 Manatee Ave West, Bradenton, FL 34205.
