Emerson Point #1 Large

Location: From Central Manatee County - Take U.S. 301 north over the DeSoto Bridge. Turn left onto 10th St. W.  Stay on this road, heading toward Snead Island. After crossing the bridge, take the immediate right (across from the Yacht Club).  Turn left at the first stop sign and drive west into Emerson Point Preserve.  The pavilion is located near the visitor center.

Amenities: The pavilion has 14 tables, 1 grill, rest rooms nearby, no electric.  The preserve is open from dawn to dusk.

Rules: Maximum capacity is 50 people. Parking is very limited. Inflatables,generators, amplified music and citronella burning are prohibited.  The preserves are actively monitored by Rangers. Rentals who violate the capacity or rules of the preserves will be asked to leave. Wedding receptions are not allowed.  If you would like to hold a wedding ceremony, please contact our office.  Four-hour rentals must be reserved at the G. T. Bray Recreation Center.  All full-day rentals may be booked online.

Emerson Point #2 - Canoe Launch
