On September 4, we launched a new online system for reporting issues to our Citizens Action Center.

The Citizens Action Center provides a central contact point for citizens to report an issue, request a service, seek information/referrals, and direct complaints, compliments and suggestions regarding government service.

Report issues online

Tips for Using Manatee County’s Online Service Request System:

  • Make sure you have an address or description of the location related to your issue
  • You may remain anonymous (except for barking dog complaints), or you may add your contact information if you would like someone to follow up with you
  • Be prepared with any photos or files you’d like to attach to your complaint
  • Save your Record Number after you submit your complaint to track the status of your issue through our system
  • If you would like to be able to easily refer back to all of your cases, create an account (view new account instructions)

Report urgent issues

The Citizens Action Center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To report issues outside these hours that require urgent attention (loose or dangerous animals, broken water mains, sewer problems, etc.), call 911. Our Emergency Communication staff will contact the on-call staff to respond.

For issues that can wait for the next business day, leave a message and our staff will assist you.
