COVID-19 Reopening Plan: August 3

Group Fitness Class Operations

Masks are required to enter G.T. Bray Recreation Center and where social distancing can not be achieved. Staff will instruct participants to take their temperature, scan in or make payment for reserved drop-in services.

  • Reservations are required. No drop-in participation during this soft reopening phase.
  • Call (941) 742-5923 to secure a spot. Make reservations for each day as follows:
    • Call on Thursday for Saturday reservations; Friday for Monday reservations; Monday for Wednesday reservations; Tuesday for Thursday reservations; and Wednesday for Friday reservations.
  • Class sizes are limited.
  • The floor is marked with available participant spots spaced 6 feet apart. Please find an “X” and maintain social distancing throughout the class.
  • All equipment will be sanitized prior to use and after class.
  • Participants will exit through the exterior doors in the multi-purpose room.
  • Participants may reserve a spot in a maximum of two classes each day.
  • 15-minutes are allotted between each class for additional cleaning and sanitizing.

Cardio Flex Class

The G.T. Bray Recreation Center offers many group fitness classes each week, with something for every interest and fitness level.  Whether you are a beginner or a fitness enthusiast, you are sure to find a class that suits your needs.  Classes are included with a recreation membership, if space allows non-members can drop into a class for $5.00/class.
