Planning Instructions, Worksheets, & Checklists

Manatee County developed the Development Review Manual with the goal of providing a streamlined process of submitting planning applications. Part I of the Manual was published in January 2020 after Board review and outlines the development review process. Part II was completed in October 2020, and provides detailed instructions of the requirements of each type of planning application. Below is a broken down guide to assist you in collecting all required documents prior to submitting your application in Accela. Note that these are fillable forms, and you can paste into the fields by using Ctrl + v on your keyboard.

Private Provider

If you are a contractor using the same private provider for all of your inspections,  it may be beneficial for you to make the private provider a delegate on your account. This allows the private provider to access all of your records.
