Water Conservation Programs

Promoting water conservation programs to protect our priceless natural treasure is a primary responsibility of the Manatee County Water Conservation Division.

Program List

Following is a list of some of the programs that support these efforts.

  • Rain Barrels: Customers may purchase a rain barrel at cost for use as an alternative source of hand-watering landscape.
  • Water CHAMP: Free program to promote towel and linen reuse for hotels and motels.
  • Water PRO: Free program for restaurants to educate staff and patrons on conserving water.
  • Educational Programs: Group presentations for adults and children are offered by the Manatee County Water Conservation Division and the Extension Service.
