Please be advised that mailers are being received by area residents indicating that a company will be in the customer's area for water testing. This testing or company IS NOT associated or sanctioned in any manner by the Manatee County Utilities Department.
Manatee County tests its water at various locations on a regular basis to ensure water quality as is required by the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act. Should Manatee County need to test a particular home owner's water, a uniformed Manatee County employee would handle the matter and be able to provide identification.
