Volunteer Florida
Volunteer Florida is the Governor's Commision on Volunteerism for the State of Florida.
Volunteer programs and and donations requests are coordinated by Volunteer Florida to assist communities in need, following disasterous events.

American Red Cross - Manatee County Chapter
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

The Salvation Army
When disasters occur, Salvation Army units can be dispatched immediately. Our own local canteen has responded to the terrorists attacks on September 11th, all major hurricanes, floods, fires, and tornadoes.
The Canteen is also on-site to assist first responders such as lawenforcement, paramedics and firefighters, providing beverages and food.
