Fine Amounts for Violations of the Animal Ordinance

RESOLUTION R-06-05

Is a resolution of the Board of Manatee County, Florida establishing specific fine amounts for certain violations of the Animal Services Ordinance 06-18.

Unless specifically provided, any person cited for an infraction of the Ordinance shall pay a civil penalty of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for the first offense, Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for the second offense, and Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars for the third offense.

The fines are designed to encourage responsible pet ownership and improve the safety of not only the animals, but the community as a whole.
