Property Acquisition Division
The Property Acquisition Division is responsible for identifying and obtaining real property the County needs to carry out its services to the citizens of Manatee County. Staff involvement with the acquisition process includes the negotiations with property owners to secure contracts for sale and purchase conveying property following approval by the Board of County Commissioners. Another task performed is contacting the lending institutions or any parties having an interest in the property being acquired and obtain a joinder or partial release of interest in the property.
