14th Street West CRA Custom Car Show & Business Expo
(Manatee) — Classic and Custom Car Buffs from all over the area will descend on the Tamiami Trail Saturday, May 7, 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. for the 14th Street West Car Show & Business Expo! at the sprawling Autoway Ford lot at 3400 14th Street West.
Every car has a story, and the class car owners love to tell theirs. Organizers anticipate an abundant display of classic and custom cars, some nearly a century old. Cars can be art, rolling history, family heirloom, or a combination of all three. The great thing is that they bring people together. The event is expected to draw people from all over Manatee County and surrounding areas and provide an opportunity to introduce the public to this classic stretch of town.
In addition to the cars—which are obviously the stars of the show, there will be music provided by Cruzin To The Hop, decadent desserts and delicious tantalizing food vendors from nearby restaurants, and business vendors selling and promoting all their unique items and services. Bring the kids out for a FREE fun-filled day of rockwall climbing, jumping in the bounce house, and playing with the animals in the Rosaire’s Petting Zoo! These are just a few of the FREE exciting children’s activities to entertain your little ones! Manatee County Middle and High Schools are also having a CAR DESIGN CONTEST with Judges on hand to award prizes to the top 3 winners in each division!
According to Lance Hubschmitt from Lance’s Cruzin To The Hop, the prime mover behind the car show, “This year’s event will be a great prelude to what old Tamiami Trail has to offer.”
Dig out your bobby socks and blue suede shoes and cruise on over to enjoy a fun-filled day! The 14th Street West Car Show & Business Expo! offers something FUN for EVERYONE!!!!
