14th Street West Community Redevelopment Area (CRA)
The CRA Redevelopment Plan was adopted by the Manatee County CRA Agency on December 10, 2002 and by the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners on December 17, 2002. The 14th Street West Community Redevelopment Area is generally located from the City of Bradenton city limits at 26th Ave. W on 14th Street, south to Cortez Road.

- Better Trash/Waste Removal
- Economic Development
- Improve Transportation and Sidewalk Network
- Improve Community Identity
- Address Drainage Problem Areas
- Improve Street Lighting
- Enhance Aesthetics of Area
The CRA principally allows for funding of improvements in the area derived from tax increment financing consistent with the adopted Redevelopment Plan.

How Can I Serve?
The Manatee County CRA Agency is responsible for managing the two CRA's in unincorporated Manatee County. Both CRA's have advisory boards to advise the CRA Agency on area matters and implementing the redevelopment plan for the area. If you are interested in serving on the advisory board for this CRA, please submit an online Advisory Board Application or mail your completed application to the Board of County Commissioners, PO Box 1000, Bradenton, FL 34206-1000.
Meeting Schedule
The 14th Street West CRA meetings are usually held at 5:30 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church and School located at 1611 30th Ave W. Bradenton, Florida. They are generally held the 4th Thursday of each month, with exceptions. Agenda packets for these meetings can be found on the CRA Agenda Packets page.
