Access Budget Information
The Financial Management Department is responsible for the preparation of the Manatee County Annual Operating Budget and Five Year Capital Improvement Program under the oversight of the County Administrator. These documents are prepared and implemented in accordance with Board policy and the Florida Statutes.
The Budget Division also provides financial and budgetary information and assistance to the Board of County Commissioners, County Administration/County Attorney, Departments, Divisions, Offices and Constitutional Officers. Other functions include: preparation of resolutions amending the adopted budget for unanticipated funding sources; processing budget transfers for Board approval; reviewing items to come before the Board for potential budget impact; providing management analysts; and serving as an integral part of the County’s management team.
