Building Resiliency in Communities Program
Program provides parenting education services. Parents complete 20 weekly sessions that are split into two components: in-home individual parenting and group parenting sessions. The Parenting Specialist primarily utilizes the "Nurturing Parent Program" curriculum in conjunction with the 40 Developmental Assets to meet the needs of the family in both the individual in-home sessions as well as group sessions. Case management services are also provided. Curriculum is covered and presented by direct teaching, group activities, handouts, written assignments, videos, etc.
