Children's Programs
The Children's Services Advisory Board, appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, evaluates, prioritizes, and makes recommendations concerning the needs of Manatee County's children and families.
The majority of the funds are used to support prevention-based programs for children and their families. Programs are typically funded on a purchase of service basis, and payments are made only after services have been provided. Monthly fiscal reviews are conducted.
