Florida Sea Grant/Marine Extension
The marine extension program is a university-based program of research and education to promote the sustainable use of our marine and coastal resources. It is a component of the Florida Sea Grant College Program that sponsors research at Universities throughout the state and at private marine research laboratories such as Mote Marine Laboratory. Program activities include but are not limited to: habitat protection and restoration, artificial reef development, fisheries and resource management and aquaculture development.
