Current Applications Status List

The attached spreadsheet lists pending Land Development Applications in Manatee County.  This information is intended to be a summary of where each project is in the review process.  More detailed information can be obtained from the case planner.

 

Each project is identified by project name, the Planning Department case number, the Development Tracking System case number, whether the project requires Administrative or Public Hearing approval, the planner assigned to work on the case, comments, a brief description, and remarks.

 

The "next action" is also identified for each case.  This is intended to identify whether the application is in the owner or agent's hands for revisions or responses to comments, or whether the next action (e.g., issue comments or prepare a staff report) is the County's responsibility.

 

Finally, the status of review of transportations issues is listed as sufficient or insufficient.  A project cannot be scheduled for sign-off or advertised for public hearings until the Public Works Department indicates that the application is sufficient.

These maps reflect completed, approved, and pending development projects in Manatee County.   Maps can be purchased from the Manatee County Property Appraiser's Office, 915 4th Ave. W., Bradenton, FL, 34205, or call (941) 748-8208.

Project List

  • Active Projects:  Are projects which have either been submitted for review or projects which have been approved and are under construction.  Active Projects  (PDF of Report)

Development Tracking Map Service

This is a real time database with interactive maps of completed, approved, and pending development projects in Manatee County.  By clicking on the "Search" tab at the right side of the screen, you can perform a search using either the project identification number or project name.  You can also utilize the toolbar at the top of the map.  By rolling your cursor over the toolbar you can see what action each button performs.  Development Tracking   (SEARCH TIP: If you do not have the complete project name type in a percentage sign [%] before and after the project name you do have.)

Development of Regional Impact (DRI)

A development of regional impact (DRI) is a large-scale development which affects more than one county; sometimes many jurisdictions.

 

DRI categories include:

  • Airports
  • Attractions
  • Hotels
  • Industrial plants and parks
  • Commercial developments
  • Residential developments
  • Multi- or mixed-use projects

Criteria which determine whether or not a project is of DRI scale are set by the State of Florida.  For more information on DRIs go to the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council website.
