| The Bradenton Area Center was designed to host a variety of events. Our arena can seat up to 4,000 and has seen a wide variety of events from Concerts, Trade shows, Exhibits, Graduations, Corporate functions and more. Today the bayfront Mediterranean Revival-style structure, which has features like a circular tower and a carriage house, is on the National Register of Historic Places. Its architecture pays tribute to a bygone era, but the estate has the modern amenities that allow it to successfully host meetings, weddings and other events. | ||

| The primary function of the Animal Services Division is the effective and humane enforcement of the animal ordinance and the protection of public health and safety throughout the incorporated and unincorporated area within Manatee County. | ||

| Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) serves Bradenton, Ellenton, Palmetto and the Gulf Beach communities. Buses run 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday – Saturday. No service is offered Sunday (except for Beach Express). The fare is $1.25 each way; transfers 25¢ each — exact fare, U.S. coins and currency or M Card/R Card transit pass. | ||

| Manatee County's recycling program is based on education and awareness, and depends on YOU for success! Recycling is an easy way to do your part for the future of Manatee county, by saving natural resources and increasing the life of the county's landfill. The program is dual stream, meaning all curb-side recyclables are separated into two containers: one for cardboard and paper products, and one for "commingled" items (glass, plastic and aluminum). The county also runs FREE programs for Household Hazardous Waste and E-Scrap. Check out this facebook page and our website, and let us know what you think! | ||
