Welcome to the new MyManatee.org!
Over the past year, we’ve worked hard to revamp our website to make it easier for you, our customers, to use. The new site is another step toward Manatee County becoming a more customer friendly, accommodating government for the people who live, do business and visit here.
On first glance, you’ll notice a more professional looking site that, in many ways, reflects a leaner, more responsive County Government. We think the clean, polished look of our site is another indicator of Manatee County Government’s renewed commitment to customer service.
Throughout the new site, we’ve tried to improve the content and layout with our readers in mind. Hopefully you’ll find information easier to find and easier to understand than on the old website.
Possibly the best feature of our new site is the Search window located conveniently in the upper right hand section of each page. Now, anytime you search for terms, you’ll receive better results than ever before on a Manatee County website.
For the first time ever, you’ll be able to customize your search for information by browsing as a Resident, Visitor or Business. Tabbed portals offer pertinent information to those who live here, do business with county government or who want to visit Manatee. Customized drop down menus on each portal offer a host of quick links to apply for jobs, request building permits, track down MCAT bus routes and much more.
Those who have grown used to finding information in a particular area of the old website, will be able to do so under the Government portal, where pages are arranged similarly to their organization under the former MyManatee.org site.
With more than 1,500 pages dedicated to unique content, the new MyManatee.org has more information than ever. But don’t worry about getting lost in the site. Convenient “bread crumbs” will show you where you are within the site.
A new “Rate this page” link at the bottom of every page of the website allows visitors to give feedback on how to improve the look, content and accessibility of the information. We’ll use your input to continue to evolve and improve the site on a daily basis.
