Manatee County Government offices will be closed Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day
Collections for garbage, recycling and yard waste in unincorporated Manatee County will be one day later than usual for the entire week.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Sept. 2, 2010) – Manatee County Government offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day.
Collections for garbage, recycling and yard waste in unincorporated Manatee County will be one day later than usual for the entire week.
Manatee County parks and beaches will be open to the public. Manatee County and Buffalo Creek golf courses will be open. G.T. Bray recreation facilities will be closed. Blackstone Skate Park and G.T. Bray Skate Park will be open.
Manatee County’s publicly owned natural preserves will remain open.
Central Library, the only county library normally open on Mondays, will be closed.
The Anna Maria Island Trolley, Beach Express and Longboat Key Trolley will operate on Labor Day. Manatee County Area Transit fixed route and Paratransit operations will not operate on Labor Day but will resume on Tuesday.
