Manatee County now accepting applications for Code Enforcement Board

CEB holds the authority to hear and decide alleged violations of Manatee’s Land Development Code

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Aug. 17, 2010) – Manatee County is seeking applicants for two openings on the Code Enforcement Board, which holds the authority to hear and decide alleged violations of Manatee’s Land Development Code.


All Manatee County residents may apply for the volunteer positions. The Code Enforcement Board is generally comprised of architects, business owners, engineers, general contractors, sub-contractors, Realtors and others who may have experience or interest in CEB’s responsibilities. The new Code Enforcement appointees will fill three-year terms which expire in October, 2013.


Applications will be accepted through Sept. 3 and may be found online at www.mymanatee.org/advisory_boards


The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. in the first-floor chambers of the Manatee County Administrative Center, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
