Manatee County accepting applications for Nuisance Abatement Board
MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Nov. 22, 2010) – Manatee County has five openings for a citizens advisory committee that makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on nuisance abatement issues.
Two of the vacant seats are one-year terms and three seats are two-year terms.
The Nuisance Abatement Board was created to hear complaints regarding criminal nuisances on places or premises located in the unincorporated areas of Manatee County. Applicants should be Manatee County residents.
Applications are due Dec. 7 and may be found online at www.mymanatee.org/advisory_boards
The group meets once a month, beginning January 2011. Meeting dates, times and places will be determined soon.
