Library Board of Trustees

Purpose

The purpose of the Library Board of Trustees is to recommend library policy to the Board of County Commissioners per Florida Statutes. 

 

Membership Requirements

The Library Board of Trustees consists of five members:

  • One member is appointed by the City of Bradenton;   
  • One member is appointed by the City of Palmetto;
  • Three remaining members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners:
  • One from the unincorporated areas of the County;
  • One from the County at large;
  • One from the Island Communities.

Meetings

Meets third Wednesday of the month at noon.
