Historical Commission
Purpose
The purpose of the Commission is to collect, record, and preserve historical material related to Manatee County.
Meeting Requirements
- The Commission consists of 17 members, one of whom is the Clerk of the Circuit Court;
- The remaining sixteen members are nominated by the Historical Commission and confirmed by the Board of County Commissioners for terms not to exceed four years.
Meetings
A luncheon meeting is held the second Friday of every month in various locations.
