Construction Trades Board

Purpose

This board shall have the authority to discipline persons who violate applicable local code provisions pertaining to the activities of licensed contractors, including the authority to suspend and revoke their licenses and impose monetary fines.

Membership Requirements

  • Six of the members should be licensed building trades contractors;
  • The other five members shall be citizens who do not or have not worked in the field of construction;
  • All contractors must have five years of experience;
  • All applicants must be Manatee County residents;
  • Members shall serve for 4 years.

Meetings

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. at the Manatee County Administration Center, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, FL, in the Chambers.
