Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Board

Purpose

The purpose of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board is to confer with and advise the Planning Department Director and/or his/her designee, on bicycle and pedestrian related matters; to advise the Commission on matters presented to it and on matters the Advisory Board sees as advisable to address; to evaluate all bicycle and pedestrian projects and to forward findings and recommendations, through the Planning Department, to the Commission for its consideration; to assist in encouraging public participation in the activities and events of the County Planning Department.

Membership Requirements

  • Terms of Service on the Advisory Board will be for two years, with reappointment at the discretion of the Commission for another two (2) year term;
  • Members whose terms have expired may serve until the Commission selects replacements.

Meetings

The Advisory Board shall have the authority to set the time and place for its meetings. The Advisory Board will meet every month as needed, at a time and place to be determined by the Advisory Board.
